I got a new phone. How do I reinstall and login to Tap?
Not a problem! We've made it easy to securely access your Tap account from a new device. Just follow these simple steps:
- On your new phone, open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and download the Tap app.
- Once the app is installed, open it and tap on the "Log In" option.
- Enter the email address and password associated with your existing Tap account.
- As an added security measure, you'll be prompted to complete two-factor authentication, which verifies it's really you trying to log in.
That's it! Your account will sync over, allowing you to seamlessly pick up right where you left off on your previous device. All account information, balances, and transaction histories remain securely intact.
A couple of tips:
- You will automatically be logged out of your Tap account on your old device once logged in on the new one.
- If you have any issues remembering your password, you can reset it through the "Forgot Password" option.
