Financial Operation Manager
Position overview:
The Finance Operations Manager is a key role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of our organisation. TREASURY MANAGEMENT:
Implementing Treasury Controls:
Collaborate closely with the group treasury policy to establish robust controls, ensuring that foreign exchange (FX) and counterparty risks are effectively managed.Oversee the administration of Bank Mandates, encompassing online access for streamlined financial operations.
Managing Asset Flows:
Assume responsibility for meticulously overseeing the movement of fiat and cryptoassets, actively maintaining an optimal liquidity level to sustain the day-to-day functions of the business.
Reconciliation Management:
Thoroughly conduct reconciliations for both incoming and outgoing financial transactions, guaranteeing precision and completeness in financial records.
Relationship Oversight:
Take charge of cultivating and overseeing relationships with local banks, payment providers, and crypto exchanges, thereby establishing a strong financial network.
Digital Asset Advice:
Provide Tap with expert insights into the dynamic landscape of digital asset management and payment solutions, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
Back Office Projects:
Spearhead multiple projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of back office operations, showcasing your leadership skills and strategic thinking.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING:
Daily Finance Operations:
Lead the orchestration of daily financial operations, meticulously overseeing everyfacet of the financial processes. Drive the systematic month-end closing process to ensure financial accuracy.
Regulatory Reporting:
Execute a meticulous approach to regulatory reporting, adhering to the stringent requirements of the DLT license, and ensuring that all reporting is submitted accurately and punctually.
Cashflow Forecasting:
Employ advanced forecasting techniques to generate comprehensive cashflow reports, providing insights into company and customer balances. Accompany these reports with insightful commentaries to enrich the understanding of financial movements.
RISK MANAGEMENT AND CONTROLS:
Operational Policies:
Devise and implement operational policies and controls that serve as bulwarks against potential risks. Regularly assess and mitigate these risks, offering actionable recommendations to fortify existing controls.
Control Documentation:
Maintain meticulous documentation of internal controls, detailing their implementation and effectiveness in safeguarding the organization's financial integrity.
WIDER TEAM AND THIRD PARTY ENGAGEMENT:
Financial Support for Growth:
Play a pivotal role in the company's growth trajectory by offering well-informed financial perspectives and recommendations, contributing to informed strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master'sdegree or professional certifications (CFA, CTP, CPA) preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in treasury management, financial operations, and riskmanagement.
- Strong knowledge of treasury controls, including FX risk, liquidity management, and onlinebanking systems.
- Proficiency in financial accounting, regulatory reporting, and month-end closing processes.
- Familiarity with DLT license requirements and associated reporting.
- Ability to develop accurate cashflow forecasts and provide insightful analysis.
- Proven track record in operational risk management and policy implementation.
- Excellent leadership skills, including leading projects and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for advising on digital asset trends and engaging with internal teams.
- Prior experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, or related industries is a plus.
