Why was my bank transfer deposit reversed?
If your bank transfer deposit to Tap was reversed, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
Deposit Made from an Account Not in Your Name
For security reasons, deposits must originate from a bank account in your name. If the deposit was made from an account not registered to you, it will be reversed.
Incorrect Recipient Information
Ensure that you fill in your full name and last name as the recipient when making a deposit. Tap accounts are registered in your name, so the recipient details must match your Tap account information.
Sending Bank Blocking the Transfer
Occasionally, the sending bank may block the transfer. This can happen due to various reasons, such as security protocols or restrictions imposed by the sending bank.
